My word last year was 'CURIOSITY'. Through my efellowship I was able to explore what curiosity looks like, how it presents itself differently in each person, and how it can be nurtured and used as a powerful motivator for learning. My own curiosity was the driver for a fabulous year full of learning.
This year the word I have chosen is 'GROWTH'.
I have been accepted into the National Aspiring Principal's Programme (NAPP 2016), which focuses on developing leadership capabilities. I am excited about being given the opportunity to develop my skills and knowledge of leadership, as well as making connections with colleagues who are at a similar stage of their learning journey.
I anticipate that this will be a very busy year, but one that will be full of opportunities to grow both personally and professionally.
I intend on making the most of it.

e puawai ana he Kauri
