What an incredible year it has been.
Inspirational! I have grown so much, both personally and professionally. It has
been a year of learning, where I have been challenged to critically reflect on
my own teaching, to challenge assumptions, to think deeply about what is really
important for the learners of today, and to reimagine what teaching and
learning could look like.
The eFellowship has fueled my desire to be in a
position where I can lead transformational change within our education system,
and for that I with to thank Core Education for giving me this wonderful
opportunity. Thank you to all the amazing speakers who presented to our group.
-Keryn Davis, Derek Wenmoth, Dianne Thomas, Mark Osborne, Manu Faaea-Semeatu,
Chrissie Butler.
A huge thank you to our two wonderful mentors
Louise Taylor and Ann Hatherly.
As I think back to our very first hui in
January, Louise said that we had been given a wonderful opportunity to
"think", and boy have we done that! Louise has taught me to look
through a "transformational lens", encouraged me to find my
"northern light", "disrupt with humility", and to tell my
story of " transformational
change".
I have been lucky enough to work alongside, and
learn from some wonderfully passionate educators. My eFellows15 friends -Vivita Rabo @vrabo1, Camilla Brotherton @CamiBrotherton, Steve
Mouldey @GeoMouldey, Richard Wells @iPadWells, Philippa Nicoll Antipas @AKeenReader, and Mel Wiersma @WiersmaMel are inspirational.
Thank you for your support, your knowledge, your friendship and for all
the fun times. You guys are awesome!
